Everything Ranch Chex Party Mix

Please believe me when I say this recipe is majorly addictive. I’ve made this quite a few times to bring to parties and let me tell you, I’ve learned I have to make it almost immediately before the event otherwise I will eat it all. My fiancé Brad can attest to this. What can I say, I’m human.

The original recipe comes from Half Baked Harvest here.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mini pretzel twists (do not sub the mini pretzel sticks, learned that the hard way)

  • 2 cups Rice Chex cereal

  • 2 cups cheddar Goldfish

  • 2 cups Cheez-its

  • 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons raw sesame seeds

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley

  • 2 teaspoons dried chives

  • 1 teaspoon dried dill

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Add the pretzels, Chex Mix, Cheez its, and Goldfish to a large mixing bowl and set aside. Next, melt the butter in a microwave safe vessel. Once melted, mix in the Worcestershire sauce, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, parsley, chives, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the spices/butter in with the mix in the large bowl and make sure the mixture is evenly coated.

Line a baking sheet with foil and spread the mix evenly. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Toss 1-2 times throughout cooking.

Your house will smell amazing as this finishes cooking. I like to eat a couple buttery warm pieces right out of the oven, but this should not be a surprise as I clearly lack self control with this recipe. Serve it right away or store in a container. I promise it wont last long enough to go bad.
